I have worked within social housing for the past 25 years and as a leader and manager for the past 18 years. I have led and managed individuals and teams as well as facilitated and provided teaching. I have enjoyed developing staff to become high performers. I have become a competent leader with extensive senior management experience in managing diverse teams, handling complex and challenging projects and developing policies & strategies. Demonstrable evidence of collaborative working practices in strategic planning, compliance, risk management and monitoring achievement of work plans. Possess excellent leadership skills with both a strong ethos & passion for delivering services to exceptionally high standards. I have spent the past years as a coach and mentor to adult learners, supporting learners to achieve a Chartered Institute of Housing qualification at level 3 and 4, all passing with 3 learners achieving a distinction. I am a keen traveller, having spent a month at a time travelling around India and Vietnam, Cambodia, Bali and Hong Kong. I am a keen cyclist and enjoy reading.
