Rakin Niass He is a Head of Religious Studies and Philosophy in a secondary school in North London, as well as a life coach, poet and religious leader and family counsellor. He is the author of Third Eye Open, a book of poems that covers social issues, Islamic and West African spirituality. Rakin is also the director of Save Our Boys, an organization set up to support and guide the youth who are going astray and involved in gangs. Rakin has studied the deen of Islam under many teachers, including Sheikh Babikr Ahmed, Sheikh Michael Mumisa and Ustadh Ahmed Pirzada and also the distinguished Imam Cheikh Tijani Cisse. On the weekends, Rakin teaches Islamic Studies in two British madrasahs. Rakin believes that education is the key and the best way to prepare the youth for the future.
