About Me
I hold an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. I am passionate about helping clients discover their strengths and resilience, empowering them to make positive changes in their lives.
My approach to psychotherapy is integrative, meaning that instead of relying solely on one theoretical model, I utilise various theories regarding human development and relationships to determine the most effective way to assist my clients. I collaborate with my clients to assist them in developing a deeper understanding of who they are, their life's story, and some new perspectives on how they might view and experience themselves at work, in relationships with others, and in their interactions with themselves.I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I have experience in working in a variety of multicultural settings, which has provided me with the necessary knowledge and skills to adapt my approach and work effectively with individuals from various cultural backgrounds. I am Fluent in both English and Arabic.
In the psychotherapy sessions you can explore various aspects of your life and feelings, talking about them freely and openly in a way that is rarely possible with friends or family. Bottled-up feelings such as anger, anxiety, and grief can become very intense and psychotherapy offers an opportunity to explore them, with the possibility of making them easier to understand.
I understand that making the decision to seek therapy is possibly anxiety-provoking one. So, if you are feeling uncertain, we can meet for an initial consultation where we can discuss any difficulties you may have and decide together whether psychotherapy is right for you, and if I am the psychotherapist you need.
I would like to get to know you, hear your story, and spend some time with you talking about your feelings and experiences.
