About Me
Introduction: My name is Nadia, and I'm here to support your transformation journey. I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to continually put others' needs before your own, sacrificing your feelings and desires in the quest for acceptance while you are constantly being oppressed, betrayed and left unsupported. This often leaves you feeling alone, lost and confused.
About Me: With over 25 years of experience in social services, my journey began in the education system, where I worked tirelessly as a counselor and child and youth worker. During this time, I developed groundbreaking social-emotional intelligence programs to empower young individuals to face life with confidence and resilience. These programs instilled essential skills, such as setting boundaries when faced with adversity (bullying).
I’m a free thinker and disrupter of conditioned beliefs and norms. I do not subscribe to religious beliefs and a huge part of my journey included giving permission to myself to BE myself, even if it disappointed others. At the core of my philosophy is the belief that self love is foundational to good mental health.
My realization was that these challenges also affect adults which lead me to take a bold step. I delved into additional courses in mindfulness, hypnotherapy, and neurocognitive approaches, expanding my knowledge and skills. I made the courageous decision to leave my job in education to establish my own practice, recognizing how childhood wounds and conditioning manifest in individuals of all ages.
