About Me
I have over 15 years of experience in psychology, with an academic background that includes two Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and a postgraduate clinical specialization. My training encompasses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), trauma therapy, speech therapy, Lego therapy, and mindfulness practices. Additionally, I have completed specialized training in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and teaching strategies.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience working with women who have experienced trauma and gender-based violence. Since the age of 18, I have worked as an educator, supporting many neurodiverse students with ASD, learning disabilities, and speech difficulties.
My clinical experience includes working in hospital settings where I have provided support to clients with clinical depression, postnatal depression, anxiety disorders, and somatoform disorders. I have also served as a youth coach and student counsellor in schools and colleges, focusing on building self-esteem, resilience, and coping strategies for teenagers facing challenges such as bullying.
