About Me
I am an early childhood educator. I have an associate degree in early childhood education from Essex County College in New Jersey, USA. I am qualified to teach ages from 3 years old to 8 years old. I have taught and assisted in different early childhood schools and programs for the Muslim community. I have experience in Montessori and Waldorf pedagogies.
I turned to homeschooling because learning about the development of children made me realize that North American schools do not give children to thrive in their early years, so I became a homeschooling coach to empower Muslim moms to spend longer time with their kids at home, that they can even though they have babies in toes, or whatever the struggle might be.
Moms usually have the instinct to keep their children at home to spend more time with them and teach them the foundation of Islam, but the misconceptions about homeschooling in general scare them, plus they doubt if they can know how to teach their kids without a teaching degree. I help them to move through those limiting beliefs, give them the resources they need, and share the knowledge I have from learning about the development of the children.
