About Me
Assalamu Alaikum,
With gratitude to the Almighty, I embarked on my journey with the Quran over three decades ago, beginning my memorization even before my formal education commenced. By the age of 16, I had successfully committed the Quran to memory, mastering reading, writing, and calligraphy in addition to memorization. My educational path led me to a Shariah secondary school, where I delved deep into subjects such as Tafseer, Hadith, Musdalah Hadith, Balagah, Nahuo and Sarf, Adab (Arabic literature), Fiqh (comprehensive coverage), Usoul Al-Fiqh, Mirath (Islamic inheritance division), Aqeedah, and Islamic history and culture. Followed by first class of Bachelor Degree in Islamic studies,
Subsequently, I contributed four years of service within Waqf institutions in my homeland, further enriching my understanding of Islamic principles and practices. Building upon this foundation, I pursued an MSC in Islamic Banking and Finance from a reputable university in the UK. Presently, I am engaged in doctoral research, Alhamdulillah.
My professional experience extends to roles within Awqaf institutions, where I dedicated myself to community service for four years. Additionally, I served as a key member of the team at Hounslow Central Mosque and an Islamic school, assuming responsibilities as the subject lead overseeing all aspects of the Islamic curriculum, from establishment to teaching and monitoring.
