I have a degree in Early Years Education and worked in Islamic schools as a Teacher and Teaching Assistant for a while. While the job was fulfilling and rewarding, after a few years I decided to leave and try something else. Alhamdulilaah by the Qadr and kindness of Allah, my own hardships and difficulties steered me towards counselling. I wanted to be a means of helping others connect with their faith, themselves and their goals and purposes. I am now trained as a RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapist) or better known as a Hypnotherapist with the institute of Marisa Peer. I also want to combine a faith-based approach with my line of work as I deem this to be of necessity and instrumental for holistic healing. Therefore I am currently studying Islamic Psychology with Al-Balagh Institute. InshaaAllaah I will also be undertaking NLP courses to further expand my skills and knowledge.
