About Me
I am a dedicated Islamic scholar with a comprehensive background in higher Islamic education, having completed my Alimiyyah program, which encompasses a rigorous study of various Islamic sciences including Arabic grammar, syntax, morphology, Tafsir, Hadith studies, Islamic legal theory, Hadith nomenclature, Mantiq, and advanced Fiqh.
Currently, I am in my second year of an advanced specialization course in Islamic Jurisprudence under the guidance of experienced Muftis. In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as an Imam at a Masjid in Scarborough, Ontario, where I actively engage with the community through regular youth nights and an evening program for children, teaching Islamic studies and the Quran.
I am also in the process of launching a new course aimed at an older audience, which will cover essential Fiqh topics, Seerah, and Hadith studies in an accessible manner. My commitment to lifelong learning drives me to seek further qualifications, including a bachelor’s degree in social work, followed by a Master’s in Psychotherapy.
I offer a range of services, including Quran, Fiqh, Hadith, and Seerah classes, as well as Islamic jurisprudential counselling and responses to general Islamic inquiries. With over seven years of study and teaching experience, I strive to provide authentic and knowledgeable guidance to all who seek it.
