About Me
I am a Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD), Social worker, Holistic Therapeutic life coach and practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). I am also the founder of Inspirational Minds, a Founder of Friends Alike – A support group for parents of children with disabilities and Farzana Inspires Wellbeing – A service set up to support people through a range of life issues with the use of holistic, therapeutic coaching and personal development training
As you can see I like variety. My Varied professions have given me experiences that are also varied from working with children to adults, and from hospital to community.
I strive to bridge the gap between Health, Social and Emotional care. I have been fortunate to have worked as a nurse, social worker and also have experience in Mental Health and feel service provisions need to be less dis-jointed and more holistic.
I am passionate about planning and organising initiatives that meet the needs of people. I feel good when people around me feel good.
I have focused a lot of my work on helping people to develop independence an integrate within the community be it local or the wider community and running support groups so people never feel alone in the issues they face.
