I am Abdullah Najjar, a former Assistant Imam and Youth Director at one of the most active Masjids in America. I am currently a graduate student in Law and Religious Studies, and I have taught and mentored over 1,000 students from around the world. Over the past 20 years, I have been actively volunteering within the Muslim community, and people regularly seek my advice and guidance on various issues.
My educational background includes a Diploma in Islamic Studies from the International Open University (IOU), and I have pursued additional coursework through AlMaghrib Institute, AlKauthar Institute, Al-Salam Institute, Qalam Institute, Mishkah University, and Guidance College.
Throughout my career, I have been honored to speak to Muslim medical students at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Tufts, UMass, and Boston University, as well as students at Berkeley, Rice, Clemson, Creighton, UNLV, Toledo, Brandeis, GSU, UNL, East Carolina, University of Texas, Texas State, UTSA, Texas A&M, Illinois Tech, Benedictine University, Northeast Illinois University, the University of New Orleans, New York Institute of Technology, and the State University of New York.
I have also delivered lectures and talks at Masjids across Houston, Boston, Austin, Omaha, and Des Moines, participated in events at over 15 high schools, and presented at major conventions such as the ICNA Houston Conference and the Texas Dawah Convention.
In addition to my religious and educational work, I have collaborated with Muslim investors and Muslim-owned brands for over three years. My work has been recognized in a Harvard documentary and through interviews with NPR, PBS, NRG Radio, and various local TV stations.
