About Me
Shermeen is an integrative multilingual psychotherapeutic counsellor offering clients a mixture of theoretical approaches such as Person-centered, Psychodynamic, CBT and TA. She is a registered member of BACP and MCAPN working in accordance to their ethical frameworks.
Shermeen works with adults and young adults and has experience dealing with sexual violence and domestic abuses survivors. She also has worked in secondary school settings to tackle issues related to school, social media and peer relationships.
Broadly, Shermeen's practice is trauma informed, covering areas including; anxiety, stress, bereavement, domestic violence, low self-esteem/confidence, depression, relationships, cultural as well as religious issues, migration, racial discrimination, work related Stress, emotional neglect, parenting issues, pre marital counselling and inner child-work.
Currently, Shermeen is offering long-term online , short-term online on Zoom (Secured video/audio conferencing) and Telephone counselling.
Offering counselling in Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi and English.
