Kiran Salim Shah is an award-winning Life Coach/Mentor for Muslim Women and Teens, and is known for her book "Pink Shoes and Jilbaab - Not Your Average Hijab Guide". She started her journey as an educator in 2012 after her Diploma in Islamic Studies from AlHuda International. She remained a teacher for women and teens in the same institution till 2017.
Pandemic gave her the chance to write her book and to delve into various Coaching courses. She holds various certificates in Life Coaching, NLP, MER, EFT, Emotional Intelligence and Hypnotherapy. The Government of Dubai granted her Golden Visa for her varied endeavours in 2022. She was given the Best Debut Author Award in 2021 and Mastermind Award for Best Coach for Muslim Women and Teens in 2023. Coming from a middle-class family, Kiran understands the joint family issues generational traumas and limiting beliefs of typical South-Asian families. Her passion to empower women came from her experiences and observations from her surroundings growing up.
Today she is invited to various schools as a motivational speaker to talk about these issues.
