About Me
I provide religious and spiritual guidance through classes, khutbahs, halaqahs, counselling, community service, and more. Raised in NYC, I studied Qur'an and Islamic sciences with local scholars and am currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University, focusing on Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, Usool-Fiqh, and other disciplines, while continuing private studies with various scholars. Alongside my Islamic Studies, I’ve earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Brooklyn College. Inspired by my teachers,I began delivering khutbahs at 17 and have since collaborated with organisations like ICNA, Young Muslims, Park51, and multiple mosques to provide religious and spiritual services to diverse communities. I currently serve as an Imam in Carteret, New Jersey and am the founder and director of Al-Buraq, a nonprofit organization dedicated to grassroots efforts to foster growth through education, companionship, and community service.
I focus on individual marriage counseling only, and do not offer couple counseling services.
